Our Mission
A modest temple for a quiet Himalayan valley
Mandal Valley is situated in the spiritually significant Himalayan region beneath Tungnath. The objective of this initiative is to construct the Narmadeshwar Temple, a simple Shiva temple, that can serve local residents, devotees and visitors as a peaceful place for worship, prayer and meditation.
The temple is planned as a modest single-storey structure with a sanctum for the Shivling, a small internal circumambulation path, a prayer area and a simple traditional exterior. Materials will be sourced locally wherever possible, and the work will be carried out in stages as funds are received.
The estimated construction cost is approximately ₹6,00,000.

Why this temple matters
A spiritual space for local residents
The nearest temples are a long walk away for elderly villagers, especially in winter.
Preservation of local tradition
Built in a simple traditional Garhwali stone style, in keeping with the valley.
A community-supported initiative
Land, volunteer labour and local coordination are contributed by the village itself.
